Runcorn Veterans Model Club

​

FORMER Armed Services personnel from Runcorn carrying the physical and psychological scars of battle have been using their hands to work to rebuild their self-confidence.

Runcorn Veterans Association’s (RVA) models club at Halton Brook Community Centre now attracts a regular group of 15-20 participants and organisers have now received requests to expand it across Halton

Gulf War Veteran's Garden

 

​Working with Soldiers Journey we Transformed Jimmy garden, which included putting two disabled ramps inso Jimmy could access his upper level of his garden, we also put in a patio area where Jimmy and his wife and grandchildren could sit.

 

 

WW1/WW2 Grave tidy up

A Group of volunteers gave up a sunday morning to tidy up old veterans graves in Warrington. Bacon putties and a brew supplied (what a squaddie will do for a bacon puttie and a brew)
